Mark was more than a player; he was a cornerstone of the Bloods’ success during a golden era. A fierce and talented competitor, he etched his name into club history as a premiership player in both 1983 and 1984. His commitment extended beyond the boundary line, stepping up to serve as the club’s coach in that triumphant 1984 season, guiding his teammates with the same passion he displayed on the field.
Affectionately known as “Gems,” he was a cherished teammate and a respected figure, embodying the spirit of local football. His contributions helped forge the club’s identity and created memories that will be passed down through generations of players and supporters.
