Lauderdale King,Tragic New Year’s Eve Crash in Wilcox County Claims Life of 31-Year-Old Man
WILCOX COUNTY, Ga. — A single-vehicle crash on New Year’s Eve has resulted in a fatal tragedy, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP). Lauderdale King, 31, was killed after being ejected from his vehicle on State Highway 233.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Preliminary reports from the GSP indicate that King, driving a Chevy Tahoe, lost control of the vehicle while navigating a curve. The Tahoe subsequently overturned multiple times. During the violent crash sequence, King was ejected from the SUV. Despite emergency response, he was pronounced dead at the scene by Wilcox County Coroner Janice Brown.

Authorities continue to investigate the exact circumstances leading to the loss of control. The crash serves as a somber reminder during the holiday travel period.
