Our Viking family is hurting deeply this week as we tragically lost one of our own. Coach Jon Carr was more than a coach — he was family. An integral part of Valpo Pop Warner for many years, Jon poured his heart into this organization and into every child he mentored.
To know Coach Jon was to love him. Leading Team Jones, he made a lasting impact on every player. He showed up consistently, coached with care, and led with an unforgettable blend of kindness, patience, and heart. His players adored him, and his legacy will live on in the lessons, memories, and love he gave so freely.
Our hearts are heaviest for the family he leaves behind: his beloved wife, Brittany, and his young son, Beckett. An undeniable void now exists within our community.
